Before & After...
Non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments can affect the proportions and symmetry of your facial features. Profile balancing or ‘profiloplasty’ is about harmonising the relationship between the nose, lip and chin from the profile view (side-on view of the face). Dermal fillers can be used very effectively to achieve a more balanced and aesthetic profile.
Our qualified aesthetic clinicians consider your face from every angle and make tailored recommendations to achieve the perfect profile. Non-surgical jawline contouring may be complemented with cheek fillers; a lip enhancement may be most impactful in combination with non-surgical rhinoplasty.
Based on the needs and preferences of our patient, our experienced clinicians often suggest this combination approach. It all depends on the current balance of your facial anatomy.
Profile Balancing Treatments
Our goal is to achieve the perfect proportions. During our initial complimentary consultation, we examine your profile and decide what needs to be altered, if anything, to balance the profile.
Profile balancing with filler can be used for the following purposes:
- Improve balance and harmony of the overall profile
- Add projection to a ‘weak’ chin or lip
- Straighten the nose
The benefits of profile balancing:
– Immediate results with little to no downtime
– Total injecting time 10-15 minutes
– No need for general anaesthetic or surgical implants
– Results last 12-18 months typically
Our experienced aesthetic clinicians administer injectables with the utmost precision and skill, distributing the perfect amount in the right areas to achieve each client’s desired outcome.
I have used array twice and each time have been very pleased with the results. I found Dr Chris very professional and he really listens to what you hope to achieve. The pricing is also very reasonable and the location is perfect and for all of the above reasons I would not go anywhere else.

What filler is used for profile balancing?
For profile balancing, hyaluronic acid (or HA) dermal fillers are used. HA is a substance that’s found naturally in the body. Usually it is high density, ‘stiff’ HA products that are used in profile balancing, particularly in the chin and nose. These are known for greater longevity. We use less dense filler material for lip filler.
How long does it take?
Profile balancing will take no longer than 10-15 minutes actual injecting time. Once the procedure is over there is no significant downtime, with patients typically able to return to normal activities immediately. We do ask patients not to apply make-up for a minimum of 3 hours post procedure.
How long do the results last?
Profile balancing with filler typically lasts between 12-18 months on average but everyone absorbs and breaks down filler at different rates.
Will I receive any aftercare?
At Array Aesthetics, all patients receive unlimited aftercare as required following their procedure.
Which products do you use?
Array Aesthetics uses a variety of the highest quality products including Juvederm, Belotero and Teoxane. These products ensure the safest and gentlest procedure when treating patients. We ask patients not to get over focused on brand and allow the experts to guide you!
Is the treatment painful?
Although a little uncomfortable at times, patients tolerate the procedure very well. Also, overall injecting time is very short.
