Jawline Filler

‘Ideals’ of  jawline and chin shape are different for men and women and vary between ethnicities.

Within Western female populations, a chin with a gentle curve, where the lowest point is the centre of the chin, is considered beautiful.  A sharp and angular jawline is generally accepted as aesthetically pleasing.  For men, a ‘squarer’ chin and jawline is masculinising and therefore considered more desirable.

FAQs

What dermal filler is used in jawline/chin?

Hyaluronic acid filler is most commonly used for chin/jawline filler, although other options are available. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is found naturally in the body. Usually high density, ‘stiff’ hyaluronic acid products are used to treat the chin and jawline. These are known for greater longevity and lack of migration.

How long does it take?

Jawline/chin filler takes around 30 minutes. There is very little downtime and patients are typically able to return to normal activities immediately.

How long do the results last?
