It is made up of the following materials:

• 150mg of poly-L-lactic acid microspheres — the active polymer

• 45mg of sodium carboxymethylcellulose — suspending agent for viscosity

• 145mg of non-pyrogenic mannitol — bulking agent making it easier to reconstitute and optimise resuspension in water.

In the days following treatment, it is advisable to perform some light massage in the area using a facial moisturiser.

After the treatment, patients should avoid exposure to sunlight and UV light until the initial swelling and redness subside. Very high or low temperatures should also be avoided.
